The place is in a great spot, and the room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean, plus the owner was really friendly and helpful. The kettle in the kitchen was ancient and covered in limescale, which confused me, so we decided to skip using the kitchen and had breakfast outside instead.

The location was convenient—just a short walk to town and close to the docks for our cruise terminal. The owners were communicative and helpful, the bathroom and bedroom were clean, and the code‑locked doors made us feel safe. Basic needs were met. However, there were noisy guests talking loudly inside and outside the house, and someone was cooking at 1 am even though the house rules said no noise past 10 pm (I understand this isn’t the owners’ fault). The kitchen had mouldy bread and unwashed pots and pans on the stove. The twin beds were comfortable but the frames squeaked a lot, so I didn’t sleep very well.

Nice and cozy. Everything was alright

The smart locks worked, the room was clean enough and there was a fan. I didn’t get the email that said a photo ID was required, so checking in was a bit stressful but it got sorted quickly. There was no kettle in the room, and the water pressure was terrible.
