“Scary”
Nothing. We arrived late 10pm. The 'hotel' was empty. No proper staff, greeted by a shoddily dressed person who pushed our bags into the 'hotel', kept asking when we were leaving, and would send us for an inflated price. SCARY. The lobby was EMPTY, The 'manager' came and greeted us. The lift was not working, the 'manager' said it was still under renovation, but just re-opened. Huh ??? There were NO OTHER GUESTS except us. It was an EMPTY BUILDING. We walked up to the 3rd floor, they carried our bags. and ushered to a room with a PADLOCK. The other rooms were half made etc. It was practically EMPTY. Couldn't pay by card, cash only. The manager took us to an ATM to draw money to pay. When we asked about security, the manager said he will assign the 'security guy' to stay at the lobby until we leave. He was telling us that it would be fine but we were not assured. Went back to hotel room11.45pm, and barred the doors with a desk and chair. Had a quick shower and slept on fairly clean sheet on a large bed. Half slept half awake for 4hrs, got up and left the place at 5am to get doen. The security guy was there, helped to carry our bags down and to the roadside while we wait for a car to the airport. Never going back
