Kusatsu KOTODAMA, a Japanese‑style guest house, sits a 4‑minute walk from the Kustatsu Onsen Bus Terminal and a 10‑minute stroll to Yubatake hot springs. Free Wi‑Fi, shared shower with shampoo and hairdryers, and an on‑site kitchenette with microwave, kettle, and cookware enhance comfort. A supermarket lies within a minute’s walk, and Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort is 1.2 km away.

The value for money is great. It was near the center of Kusatsu Onsen. Free drinks were available. The toilet washlet was broken. I pressed the front‑door call button several times because I couldn't tell if it was working. I didn't know the parking was paid until the initial booking stage.

The price is reasonable. It would be nice to have a bike parking area.

The bus station, supermarket, and restaurants are within walking distance, so the location is great. It’s easy to chat with other guests staying at the same hotel, which I appreciate. If a room has a rain door, please let me know I can close it. The room is very bright in the morning; having blackout curtains would be nice. If earplugs were sold, it would help when a snorer shares the room.

The location, kitchen and other facilities are good, clean and cheap. The eating and drinking area is on the second floor, which is inconvenient; it would be much better on the first floor.
