“Great for romantic relaxation”

The setting feels intimate with only 10 rooms, and the king‑size bed facing the terrace offers a nice view. The food was superb and the place is great for relaxing. However, meals are served on a strict schedule with no flexibility, the service is too fast so dinner finishes in an hour, and there should be a break between courses. The whirlpool is very small and doesn’t work well.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights cruising in Lan Ha Bay, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The ship had around 10 guests on board and more than twenty crew members, so the service felt truly attentive and personal. A special mention goes to Ms. Phuc, the manager, who took excellent care of us throughout the trip. She guided our excursions, led the onboard workshops, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and well looked after. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. The excursions were well-organized, and we never felt crowded by other tourists — a huge plus in such a popular area. There were no kayaks available during our stay, but this was due to a temporary government restriction while the region is being reorganized, so not the fault of the cruise. The food was good overall; although during our longer trip around Vietnam we had even better dinners elsewhere. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the pho cooking station and freshly prepared eggs. If there was one area that didn’t fully meet expectations, it would be the welcome lounge, which felt quite average considering the cruise is operated by one of the most premium companies in the bay. Despite that, the cruise itself was relaxing, scenic, and very enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for making our time in Lan Ha Bay memorable. A little bit too much humidity in the room

“A wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended”

We could not fault the cruise. The staff were absolutely excellent. The food was delicious and the presentation and service was 5 star. The cruise manager Ms Phuc was fantastically helpful and friendly. The chef was absolutely outstanding. The waiters, Wendy, Willie, Duke and Huang and the massage ladies Lien and Hyong were extremely efficient and very well trained and gave top‑level service. As you can see we were very satisfied with our cruise and would recommend it and the Heritage Lines to any of our friends who want to plan a cruise in HaLong Bay. We had no complaints at all. The internet reception was rather intermittent but we were after all in the middle of HaLong Bay, so it was quite surprising that we had any internet at all.

“Absolut empfehlenswert!”

Absolutely special and luxurious ship, great and detailed rooms, everything very clean. The food was fantastic and varied. Really all staff were so incredibly warm and honestly interested in making everyone have a good time. Another highlight was the massage on board and the optional activities. 3.5 % fee at the time of payment for such a price feels really cheeky. We had similar and sometimes more expensive payments in Vietnam where we never encountered this. At least a heads‑up beforehand would have been appropriate, then we could have withdrawn money. The onboard prices seemed a bit too high for Vietnam (beer, e.g., 120 VND vs 30 VND in usual restaurants).
