I was impressed by the variety of meat dishes and really savored them. The large bath was clean, and chatting leisurely with someone in the open‑air bath made for a fun memory. It had been about twenty years since my last visit, and this stay left a lasting impression just like before.

The spot was ideal, right beside the lake and within walking distance of all the restaurants, race track, and hiking trails. The food blew me away—especially the dinner—and the onsen was fantastic. The room felt a little too warm, and the AC was too cold.

The quality of the breakfast and dinner buffet was exceptionally high. Depending on the room grade, the air was so dry that my throat felt parched; when I turned off the AC to sleep, the futon became too hot and I couldn’t sleep well.
