“The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean everywhere.”
The hotel offered standard amenities, but the sausage and gravy were particularly tasty; some places thin the gravy to stretch it, which just makes it less flavorful. The room was clean and comfortable, though I had to spend a bit of time figuring out the TV remote, which was a minor annoyance. Living on the ground floor was convenient until a guest upstairs started stomping right as I was drifting off to sleep—after a few minutes it stopped, but it was still disruptive. The next morning a dog started whining, likely because its owner was heading to breakfast.

The location is good and easily reachable, and the staff are very friendly, but the breakfast is very simple.
The staff were great and the pool was enjoyable, but being on the first floor meant we could hear loud guests above us walking all night and into the early morning.
The housekeeper was amazing and super nice, and I appreciated how everything smelled clean, but the area underneath the couch was dirty.
