The spot is excellent—just beside Nawal Sagar and a short walk from the fort, with a lovely big garden to sit and eat breakfast; my room offered a beautiful lake view from the balcony. The downside was that internet was almost always unavailable or very weak, and most staff didn’t speak English, though Vishnu was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist.

Very well located, good room size and very clean. I brought my two dogs but there were other dogs there as well, so it was a bit difficult to manage since my dogs aren't pet friendly.

The garden right after the gate was spacious and beautiful, and the shower was so hot it helped wash away sweat, but the door lock was fiddly and hard to operate.

Location: Right on the lake. On the edge of the old city so it was easy to walk into the commercial area, but it was not noisy. Close to the Palace and Fort. Room: Clean and enough space. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Staff seemed surprised when I arrived, even though I was on their list. Nonetheless, they were friendly and helpful and got the room ready for me

The staff at this hotel were incredibly diligent and friendly, which made up for the slightly worn-out facilities. However, the bathroom was not well-maintained, which was a bit of a disappointment.
