The hotel sits far from the road, keeping the traffic noise away, and the parking is convenient. However, when I arrived, construction was still underway in the entrance courtyard, and the staff were harsh—rarely a smile in India, just a few words about prepayment, and a man opened the room door and left. There was no hot water even after turning on the heater in December. The building is tucked into a small street, so I felt uneasy returning at 8 p.m. The bedding consisted of a single sheet, a blanket, and two questionable pillows, with marks on the walls that weren't clean.
