I spent a few days at Casa Litarà during my trip to Salento and felt very comfortable. The property sits at the gates of Cutrofiano, in a quiet spot that allows easy access to many places in Salento yet stays away from the chaos. The rooms are well cared for, clean, and tell the story of the area through materials, furnishings, and details crafted by local artisans. What I appreciated most was Giorgia’s welcome, always present but never intrusive. It’s clear this is not just a lodging, but a lived and loved home. Breakfast is also excellent, prepared according to guests’ preferences to avoid waste and ensure fresh products. I especially liked the local products and the meticulous attention to every detail. An authentic place, ideal for those seeking tranquility, care, and a genuine connection with the Salento region.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. The surroundings are rural with many fields and olive groves, but not very inviting. A car is needed to reach the sea or the more interesting towns. The garden is lovely and there’s a small pool. Everything is well kept and clean. The room was very small and had little natural light. Apparently there is a larger apartment with a roof terrace, but it wasn’t ready at the start of the season. There was no way to access the outside from the room; one had to go to the opposite garden, which was very pleasant. They brought us small treats and improvised a small dinner. That was no problem. The host also brought us dishes and the like.
