“Rustikaler Zeltplatz, ideal für junge Wanderer”

We were greeted warmly and shown around the peaceful surroundings. The caretaker set up a fire pit in front of a spacious tent on a good wooden floor, but since we couldn't use it he handed us a small gas camping stove. About 30 m away, there was a forest toilet for urgent needs. The nearest water and power hookup—shower, toilet, phone charging, laundry—was 350 m away, and there was no Wi‑Fi. One of the two tents sits on the edge of a meadow right in front of a small wooded area, making it almost impossible to escape the mosquitoes.

The location is gorgeous, right next to a nature reserve—perfect for starting hikes into the wild!

Quiet and calm, close to nature. What was missing: a strainer, a cleaver, and a fork for spaghetti.

Peaceful and a little traffic noise. I swam in a glamping tent and felt fully immersed in nature. I rode a motorcycle suitable for gravel riding, and had a great trip both to and from Dalsvallen. Beautiful surroundings, so next time I’ll stay a few more days. There were no drawbacks, it was perfect.
