I liked the location in Bad Schandau and the chance to eat breakfast in pleasant rooms with refrigerators, dishes and a coffee machine – that was great. Our room was quite spacious, the bathroom large, and we had a pleasant stay. The only downside was a broken blinds on the window and the view wasn’t very good.

The new self‑serve breakfast lets everyone bring their own ingredients and each room has a dedicated fridge section, which isn’t very convenient for us train travellers. The staff were practically invisible.

It’s the cleanest accommodation we’ve ever had! The lounge was nice for relaxing, food storage was perfectly organized, and the kitchen had everything needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was very generously laid out and well furnished. Unfortunately, the window only looked at a wall. Luckily we were in a great setting, but we were out and about all day.
