“Great place to stay — breakfast and breakfast staff!”

Nice property and I loved the breakfast, one of the first that offered fresh fruit and plain Greek yogurt. The breakfast staff was exceptionally helpful and clearly proud of what they did. When we checked in, no one was at the front desk and we had to wait for the person to come out, even though we could see them on their cell phone. When we left for dinner, they were again in the office on their phone, and when we returned, they were still in the back on their phone—very unprofessional!

I was on the third floor and it smelled like mold.

“Very comfortable stay because the beds were good, pillows were in great shape, and it was clean.”

Great selection at breakfast; each family member found foods that made them happy. I loved that they had beautiful, fresh strawberries and blueberries—rare for a hotel breakfast. They ran out of spoons, but it was fine.

“It was okay but not as pleasant. It is a big downgrade not having room service.”

Overall decent: the gym had a good range of equipment and breakfast offered variety, and the rooms were fine. However, room service isn’t available unless you specifically request and pay for it, and the only notice was a sign at the counter that you were expected to read. They only changed the towels, never the sheets or cleaned the rest of the room while you were staying. The elliptical machines look like they’re from the dinosaur era and make a horrible noise when used.

“Very convenient and close to state fair”

The kids adored the breakfast, but the pool had too much chlorine, burning my eyes even while I sat in the room watching them swim.
