The apartment was totally dog‑friendly, fully equipped as promised, and the quiet setting with plenty of walking options right outside the door was a real bonus. The host was very kind and loves dogs, and breakfast was always a highlight. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We trekked the Westweg on foot and this was one of the few places to stay. The owner is very nice and lives on the premises. The kitchen is set up well enough for self‑catering. Breakfast was generous and the host served it nicely. A covered smoking area protects from rain. The ceilings are a bit low, which the photos don’t show. The Wi‑Fi was very weak because of the mountain location, and mobile data was completely unavailable.

The location is very family‑friendly, or in German: totally remote. Not for night owls or party‑goers. The rooms are spacious, and the old house has been renovated very modernly.

The place is tucked away in a very peaceful spot, far from any noise. The host took great care of everything and served a very generous breakfast. It met our expectations perfectly. All the essentials for a holiday apartment were available on site, and for a small fee we even had a charcoal grill and starter available. The low ceiling height was mentioned beforehand and didn’t bother us at all, even with our heights of 188 cm and 187 cm.
