Vojo and Zorica welcomed us warmly and offered a welcome drink upon arrival, the room was very cozy with excellent beds, and breakfast featured local Baranja staples—kulen, buđola, and špek—made by the hosts and delicious.

It’s hard to rate when the hosts are so friendly and handed me a cold beer even though we didn’t know each other; I asked for the smallest room because I was only staying one night, so it was adequate but quite old‑school, very noisy from the highway right outside the window, fine for a single night but not for a second, and the water smelled and tasted like rotten eggs.

The hosts were kind, helpful, and welcoming, seemed to know exactly what two exhausted cyclists needed, and even washed our clothes.
