“Nice quiet get away”

Clear instructions on how to get in, where to find keys and information. Lovely to be left alone. Felt safe and secure while staying. Rooms were always tidied and beds remade. Once we’d left and any extras were replenished (bottled waters or clean cups). Unfortunately, there were dark stains in the carpets, cracked ceilings that need repairing from possible previous water damage, the decorative chrome trim on the shower desperately needed cleaning due to dust and general grime. The wifi wasn’t the best and kept disconnecting me then buffering despite being so close to the router. I’m sure our bedsheets or covers weren’t changed the entire stay (6 days) which felt abit unfair

“All in it was a good stay, and nice location, albeit what I have written I would stay there again.”

We could use the kitchen and the rooms were made up daily. The downside was that you have to leave your key on a hook before you leave the property and collect it from a public hook when you return, which raises security concerns; why don’t the staff provide a spare set of keys? Small key safes were available, but you need to pay £20 for a code. The rooms looked tired but were extremely comfortable.

It was very convenient if you have a car. The area was quiet, the room was very spacious, and it was very clean.

The host was friendly and there was a simple breakfast provided free of charge. The location was a bit rough, right next to an industrial area; however, the price/value ratio was good.
