The staff were very helpful and considerate, making me feel truly welcomed. The room was clean, spacious, and had a good‑sized TV with all channels working, which isn’t always the case in other hotels. I’m not really criticizing anything, just noticed that most hotels now serve semi‑skimmed milk that makes for a weak, watery cup of tea—us Brits love our tea! No other negatives to mention.

The place was very clean and comfortable; I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but I’ll stay again. The staff moved my request to a ground‑floor room even though my booking was for the first floor.

I stayed for 6 nights next to the motorway, but one day I came back to find all my clothes and food missing from the room, had to wait while they searched for them and even threw away my food. I told the manager that the room was unclean and the shower was full of hair; he said he’d cleaned it, but the hair was still there the next day after service. The manager seemed untrained in handling complaints, and all I wanted was a clean room and shower, which was a struggle.
