Breakfast was tasty, and there was a “Swedish table” that you could also order individually. Prices were reasonable. We ate at the hotel restaurant, where the chefs were excellent, the presentation was nice, and the dishes were good, especially the carp, mushroom soup, and banosh. The hotel is in the center of the village of Shayan, the staff are friendly, and the bed is clean and fragrant. The owners are a family who don’t hassle and resolve issues quickly. The hotel is still developing; the pool and hot‑tub area are being added.

Everything was great: a comfortable room with a balcony that had all the essentials, white towels and bedding were changed after two days. The food was delicious (a full‑meal lunch for 250 UAH), the fountain offered healing water, the pool was warm and superb, and the staff were welcoming. We were let in at night because the train was delayed by 10 hours. Thanks to administrator Ivan, the girls in the restaurant – Nastasia, Adelina, and others – and the attentive cleaner Sasha. I recommend this lovely town to everyone!
