The hotel is conveniently located for heading into the desert, just 5 min before Mhamid. Breakfast was good and the buffet had plenty. During our 2‑week Morocco holiday we felt unwelcome for the first time; staff were unfriendly except for one nice young man, even towards our two kids. Our bungalow was acceptable for the price, though behind it outside the view was junk stored. When we asked to extend our stay by 3 h only at the pool (we had checked out an hour earlier than booked), we were charged 30 € (!!!). When I pointed out that this was an overpriced surcharge, the hotel manager was uncooperative and offered us to leave the hotel immediately. He claimed he needed the 30 € to pay the cleaning staff, who had to be sent away because of our extension. The biggest insult was that the pool had not been cleaned for a long time – it was really dirty. Until we left at 14 h, our free bungalow was not cleaned either. Bottom line: unfriendly staff, dirty pool, and overcharging. We cannot recommend this hotel.
