“The property has good potential but significant improvements are required in many areas”
The meals were tasty and stood out as one of the highlights of our stay, yet the property clearly needs a lot of refurbishment and better upkeep. Many in‑room items like the air conditioner, television, and door locks work but look dated and need replacement. We booked a duplex that was roomy, but the furniture layout was poorly thought out— the TV was stuck in a corner that made it hard to view. Even though the room was large, there was only one AC and a ceiling fan, with no extra cooling on the upper floor above the bed, so the cool air never reached the top sleeping area. The bathroom also required major attention: no railing or place to hang clothes, a damaged wooden cabinet with dirty corners, and no bath or foot mat, causing water to spread across the floor and make it slippery. Room service was a big issue; after dinner we left plates outside the room but couldn’t reach room service because the phone was broken, and nobody came all night. By morning we found cats and dogs licking and eating from the plates, which was disheartening and raised serious hygiene concerns. In short, the hotel has potential and spacious rooms, but it needs significant upgrades in renovation, maintenance, room layout, housekeeping, and service quality.
Everything was fine, but the pool only opens at 7 pm, which is very frustrating.
