The bathroom was tiny and the ceiling fan didn’t work; I think the air‑conditioner needs calibration or a recharge because it performed only moderately. The rate is listed in dollars, but it’s charged in colones at a higher exchange rate, which ends up adding about $6 to the published price; the card reader doesn’t allow dollar payments, which is easy to request from the bank, presumably to use a higher rate. My suggestion is to bring cash in dollars for payment to avoid overpaying.

“Todo excelente y atención super buena !”

The location is superb, and the staff are really friendly. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well. The breakfast was excellent, everything was top quality.

“Volvería a quedarme ahí!”

I liked it because it’s close to where I’d be spending most of my time! The staff are friendly and very clean, always trying to help. However, sometimes there’s noise at night.

“Decepción”

The location is fine, but the walls are plain and you can hear everything from one room to another. The tiles on the floor are broken and loose. There’s hardly any setup for working on a laptop—no desk or chair. The bathrooms are dirty, smelly, and the equipment isn’t maintained.

The location was good, far from the city center, yet supermarkets and restaurants were nearby, and the area was very safe. We spent the whole week without hot water, and instead of swapping rooms, they gave us the bathroom from another room one day, then another the next, and so on. A man was cooking, and when we asked to heat water he said the kettle was broken. Other guests were still having breakfast. The photos show a terrace with tables and chairs, but it never existed.
