This spot is the ideal place to stay in Valetta. The location is very convenient, just one street down from St. John's Co‑Cathedral. The staff were extremely helpful and suggested some nice restaurants. Breakfast was freshly prepared and tasty. We stayed in a room with a small balcony (no smoking allowed) overlooking a shaft rather than the street, so street noise was absent. The bed was very comfortable, with large pillows and a nice bathroom. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely return. One minor issue was that the hotel street, like most in the center, closes to cars after 9:30, which made it difficult to get a cab to the airport because we had to roll our suitcases up the hill for a few minutes.

The place is great, just off the main street and super close to everything. We were traveling light, but if you have big suitcases the pedestrian area might feel a bit cramped.

Good location. The staff were very helpful and the room was well equipped. The breakfast area was extremely cramped, with people fighting for tables and struggling to get to the coffee machine and food. Often the cooked items were on the cool side, not heated properly.

What saved our stay was the friendliness and professionalism of Yulia and Ray! They were the only two receptionists who were truly pleasant and helpful, trying to improve our experience and the fact that we were completely misled about the room facilities. We paid almost 2000€ for a room for 3 people that was minimal, had no space, and did not match the booking photos! From the toilet that showed a large shower base in the pictures but was actually tiny, with a column in the middle that blocked the space of a shower base as shown, to a room that appeared with a sofa bed and a layout that did not match the photos and was tiny! The price was outrageous for the actual conditions of the room, and they shouldn’t even say that a Deluxe room can accommodate 3 people because it can’t! The sofa bed was tiny, super uncomfortable and for a woman 1.70m tall it left her feet hanging, super uncomfortable (it looked more like a children’s bed)! With the sofa bed open, it blocked all circulation in the tiny room, making it unacceptable to “sell” this room as suitable for 3 people! You couldn’t move between the sofa bed and the existing bed. Additionally, the room had signs of deterioration such as missing toilet supports, loose light fixtures, no sockets on both sides of the main bed, scratched and peeling walls, no socket in the toilet, mediocre cleaning with a lot of dust behind the bed, poor shower cleaning, etc! Moreover, the receptionist who received us, Assika, was very unpleasant, rude, ill‑mannered, unprofessional, and not helpful at all… when I showed her the photos of the room that appeared on Booking at the time of booking, she just said “they are generalized photos” and did not show any concern about what happened or the fact that we were misled! She was really rude and should not be in a reception dealing with customers! The same employee was also very unprofessional when we told her we needed more room keys because we were 3 people and she did nothing to resolve the discomfort of the tiny sofa bed.
