The place was peaceful with a lovely view, the staff were friendly, and the beds were nice, clean, and comfortable, though there was a slight tobacco smell.

The location was quiet next to a golf course, parking was more than ample, and the room facilities matched most reasonable hotels; I only stayed one night, used the breakfast in the morning which was fine, but there was no air‑conditioning or fans during the hottest summer on record, and the cabins’ exteriors need repainting or staining, though that isn’t a big deal.

The cabins were spotless and the large bed was incredibly comfortable, offering lovely, relaxing views over the garden and course. Everything else was just fine.

The value was great and it was peaceful; the staff were really relaxed, the cabin was very clean, and the bed was comfortable, but I couldn’t get BBC on the TV and wanted to watch athletics.
