Van der Valk Theaterhotel Almelo

This hotel is perfect for business travelers - it's got everything you need. The rooms are comfortable, the location is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great choice if you're in the area for work.

“Good location and good for dog owners”

We really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms were pleasant and the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the town center. They even go above and beyond for dog owners, giving them a special 'doggie bag' and allowing them in the restaurant. The only downside is that check-in can be a bit of a mess.

“Good value for money”

The hotel has a really nice atmosphere and the rooms are clean, but there are a few things that let it down. There's no vending machine for late-night snacks, and the options at reception are pretty limited.

The location of this hotel is its biggest selling point - it's right in the heart of the action. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. The rest of our experience was pretty underwhelming.

“Hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing especially the bathroom. However the beds needs to be replaced by a 1 mattr”

This hotel is a real showstopper, especially during the holiday season. The Christmas decorations are absolutely stunning and create a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a winter getaway. However, the bed is a major letdown - it's essentially two mattresses pushed together, which keeps separating throughout the night.
