It’s an incredibly beautiful place—rustic, which is part of the charm—and I can’t beat it for a nature stay off the beaten path. For me there was nothing I didn’t like; it’s perfectly imperfect, which is charming and just the perfect break from the city.

The spot is tucked away, so bring a bike—exactly why I fell in love with it! The drive to Hula Hula is breathtaking, and once you arrive, the silence and scenery are perfect. The meals are simple yet complete, and Mama, the host, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s a truly special place to relax.

The owner was very pleasant and the views were great. However, it’s quite far; we expected it to be quieter, but the lack of concrete walls—just curtains, leaf panels, and woven natural materials—made it noisy, cold, and damp, so we had to bundle up with several blankets. If you enjoy rustic vibes, this is your spot; it’s unique.

A very simple but gorgeous place. The owner is super friendly with everyone, giving the vibe of staying at Grandma’s house rather than a hostel in Pai. I highly recommend it for a relaxing break from city life.

It’s the cheapest option in Pai on Booking and offers a nice sunset, and the owner is doing her best for the price. The setup is as basic as a bamboo tent, so it’s not that cheap. Breakfast consists of a banana and toast, which is minimal, and the food costs twice as much as in the city.
