The staff was friendly and super helpful with my issues. Our original room had an entry light out, but that was a minor thing. Later that night I found bugs in the room, black mold in the bathroom, a completely broken and moldy shower stopper, and hair in the shower. The next morning we went down for breakfast. I tried to use the lobby bathroom and neither stall was usable; it was disgusting.

The hotel’s location is close to ball fields. The bathroom’s shower was locked and couldn’t switch from shower to bath; the hotel looked run‑down, needed paint and some upgrades, and you had to go up to the front desk to ask for a coffee maker for your room. Breakfast could have been better and there wasn’t much to choose from.

The building was settling. Our king‑size bed was tilted toward the headboard, making it feel like my lungs and intestines were in my throat when lying down. At first we thought the legs on the bed had been sawed off at one end. The shower water ran toward the slope and flowed around the commode. The floor of the whole room was obviously sloping badly.

Breakfast was okay. If you didn’t eat at 7 am you didn’t get any bacon. We asked for more bacon, and they said no. The whole hotel was settling so that our bed was VERY slanted. We couldn’t sleep normally, had to rest our heads at the foot of the bed and keep rolling off the edges all night. The floor showed slantness. Only the third‑floor ice machine worked. The elevator didn’t work half the time. Water leaked from the shower onto the floor along the wall and toilet. We had to use towels to soak up water and never received new towels.

The rooms were dirty, carpets stained, paint peeling everywhere. For the price we paid it was totally unacceptable. Cleanliness!!!
