The staff were very friendly despite the tough circumstances. We arrived in Rome during a heatwave of 39 °C, and unfortunately the hotel had no working air‑conditioning when we arrived, so we were given a room in the sun with a mediocre fan as a “solution.” In the end we decided to call booking and were offered a free cancellation so we could stay elsewhere.

The location is great – 5 minutes from the Policlinico metro station, one stop from the Colosseo. Cleaning happened every day, and they often changed the bed linen. The staff are not Italians, and those non‑Italian staff are unfriendly, don’t smile, and don’t even greet you. The hotel itself is pretty old, the furniture is ancient, the toilet is terribly noisy, and there’s a refrigerator next to the bed that isn’t quiet either. The non‑Italian owners won’t update anything. They have already mentioned the lack of air conditioning. Instead of it, they attached a fan to the wall and you’ll bump your head against it. All the doors squeak, and there are hair everywhere in the bathroom. The hotel is priced only because it’s in Rome. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel a second time; I’ve been to Rome more than once.

I really appreciated the warm welcome from the hotel staff and the location next to the metro station and bus stops, which made our travel easier. The air‑conditioning was broken and the mattress was not at all comfortable; I had back pain every morning when I woke up.

The location was good. The hostel staff treatment was terrible, the air‑conditioning didn’t work even though Booking said it did, we were forced to use fans, there was mold in the bathroom, they shouted at us, I don’t recommend this hotel at all, I would never return.

The location is very convenient, with a bar, supermarket, and metro station nearby. The staff were very responsive. After check‑out you can leave luggage for free for a while. The place is very noisy, even at night, because the hotel is on the main road. There are no sound‑proof windows. A short stay is fine, but if you want to stay long and can’t handle the noise, think twice.
