Everything was fine, though I wish there were tea‑making facilities in the room; I never saw them in this type of hotel, so I wasn’t expecting them.

The reception was very friendly, and my room opened onto a cute little patio that made me feel “at home.” The place was quiet, clean, comfortable, and the staff offered useful advice; everything else was spot on. The room was small, but that was outweighed by everything else.

The reception, whether in person or prepared for a late arrival, was available and kind, the charm of a traditional hotel was present, the breakfast was varied, and the small courtyard of greenery was a relaxing space. The downside was the radar light that turns on and off very often at night when no one is around.

The hotel is well situated, tidy, and provides the basics with a pleasant welcome. The rooms are lovely, with soft, varied décor, and the street is quiet. Breakfast is hearty. However, the information online that the hotel is 4 minutes from the Memorial is wrong; it’s actually at least 15 minutes by car.
