We had a very successful stay; the cottage was well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was clean, tidy, and overall very friendly. The drive was very good (contrary to some reviews), and the view from the terrace of the clearing was enchanting. There were no problems at all. The only thing is that a week in the forest is definitely too short. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the hospitality and see you next year. Best regards, Basia and Sławek.

The cottage is located on a forest clearing, in a quiet, private setting, with the possibility to observe nature from the terrace. The air conditioning helped us survive the heat. During rainy weather the internet worked very poorly.

I stayed in a cozy cabin on a forest plot, reached by a car without any issues. We grilled twice, once spotted a deer, and the birds sang from dawn till dusk. The AC worked, the older dishwasher still managed dishes, there was a pour-over coffee machine, a toaster, and a two-burner induction stove. Internet was fine. We slept downstairs, while the upper floor had four beds—better suited for kids, especially since it heats up a lot in summer and the stairs are steep. Practical tips: set navigation to the “Ola” grocery store in Szafarnia (asphalt road), then walk 1.5 km on a mostly gravel path with some sand. Nearby are many forest lakes, two fish fry spots, a lake with a beach, and you can drive to Brodnica and Kurzętnik to see castle ruins. In Zbiczno, there’s the “Jezioranka” restaurant, and DINO in Kurzętnik. The owner is very friendly—greetings! A small improvement would be an electric strip for charging phones, but overall it’s perfect.
