“No fue lo que esperábamos”

The location is good between Avándaro and Valle de Bravo, though getting in is a bit tricky because of a narrow road. The site is very clean, security is excellent, and Oscar provides good service. The shower has hot water and is very good. We had many problems with opening the gate; the code didn’t work. This was very inconvenient with the car because the road is narrow, several cars were behind us and left, and we were stuck in the middle. The reception on Friday (not Oscar) was not very appropriate. The room seemed a bit small. There were issues with the toilet flush, which were addressed immediately but not fully resolved until the next day. The room is very close to the pool, and all the noise from the users can be heard inside. On Saturday, there was music and a party late into the night, and everything could be heard from our room. That day the place was nothing but noisy.

“Nice place but needs some upgrading simple details”

Nice place overall, staff were kind and friendly. The towels had a mildew smell, which was awful. When I arrived at 5pm the reception was empty for about 30 minutes, and the instructions to enter were unclear.

I liked that they moved us to a larger room with two beds, which made our stay much more comfortable. We understand that this change cost extra, and we were charged correctly. Overall, the facilities are good and the effort to maintain a high service level is evident. However, there are maintenance and cleaning details that need more attention to match the quality of the premises. Small cleaning and preventive maintenance issues can significantly affect guests’ overall perception. Cleaning: The general cleanliness was acceptable, but there were areas needing more detail. I found a dead insect in the door frame and spider webs on the outside of the bathroom windows, suggesting only a superficial or standard clean. The bathroom also had a slight drain or pipe smell, a problem I had noticed before. I recommend a deep clean and a review of the pipes and drains to fix this definitively and improve the guest experience. Access and entry: While the code access system offers more security, the arrival experience could improve. Being a first‑time guest, I didn’t receive clear instructions on how to use it, and the poor phone signal made it hard to ask for help. Sending instructions via WhatsApp or a call beforehand would help, as the contact number is provided at booking.

The privacy of the place is great, and it’s very pretty. The room was near an abandoned plot and didn’t have a nice view. It also lacked a ironing service.

“Muy agradable!”

The place is very pretty, and it’s good that they left wood, a lighter, and a match in the room. The pool heater was turned off, which was a main issue we insisted on from the start. The lighter they left didn’t work, and at night there was no staff to handle any situation that arose.
