The location was ideal for what I wanted, within walking distance of the event I was attending, but road noise was quite loud when I tried to sleep and first thing in the morning; it’s a main road, so there’s not much you can do, but the noise was significant.

The spot was spot on for our plans, right in the middle of everything. The place feels old but it’s been updated, and the bed was super comfy. The AC was simple to use, and the bathroom had brand‑new tapware, a basin, and a shower—water pressure was perfect and the hot water came on instantly. The only downside was the proximity to the airport; it can get a bit noisy during rush hours, but it didn’t ruin my sleep.

The location was exactly where I needed to be. However, for a family‑run South Australian operation, charging a $250 security bond every time is outrageous, especially for repeat guests. Because of that, I’ll be looking elsewhere for future stays. I also had a neighbor who stayed up all night and made so much noise that I couldn’t sleep.
