Lyon Hotel İstanbul

I really liked how the staff welcomed me. I arrived at 9 am, exhausted, and they let me into my room even though check‑in is in the afternoon. Mahmoud and his two colleagues are the best—very honest compared to the scams you often see in Turkish hotels. At the end of my stay I asked if I could extend and keep the same room with a nice view; they agreed and gave me a discount compared to the very high price on the website. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and thanks to the lady in the kitchen for the breakfast. Nothing to add about this hotel; I’ll return every time I step into Istanbul.

I had a fantastic time at the Lyon Hotel and I want to thank the whole team for their high‑quality service, spotless rooms, comfortable beds, and especially the warm welcome and friendliness from every staff member. I’d like to give a special shout‑out to Ahmed, Ismail, and Mahmoud, who were very professional, helpful, smiling, and always ready to meet our needs. Their kindness and attention made our stay even better. A big thank you to everyone at the Lyon Hotel! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back with pleasure. Nothing to complain about.

Cozy, clean hotel with a nice vibe. The room was tidy and pretty. The receptionist was friendly and helped me get a taxi to the airport for 50€ to Sabiha. It’s close to the tram and metro. There was a small water leak in the bathroom of room 403. The breakfast could offer more variety of salami.
