“BOM HOTEL COM UMA PESSOA MUITO RUDE NA RECEPÇÃO!”

In Sarajevo we preferred an international chain hotel, so we chose the Courtyard by Marriott Sarajevo. As expected, the hotel is pleasant but impersonal. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was very good. At the restaurant we were very well attended and the dishes were tasty. Breakfast is hearty and very good. The hotel has a nice rooftop. The only thing that stood out from the above description was the rudeness with which the man at reception treated us! It is unimaginable that a hotel of this category would have such a person to receive guests. For your information, we arrived at the hotel around 2:30 on 21 September.

A spacious and comfortable room, very comfortable beds and a great location. The gym was clean and tidy. Overall a very pleasant stay. I have no complaints, everything was fine.

Location and a comfortable room. The service of the staff was not as good as in other Courtyard Marriotts I have stayed at. We asked reception at 1 pm and 2 pm to let us know when the room was ready and sat on the sofa in front of reception. When a staff member approached us at about 2:40 pm, they didn’t check if the room was ready but told us that we couldn’t “sleep” in the lobby when my husband was closing his eyes (sitting) because there was nothing to do.

“Güvenli, rahat, temiz, gezilecek yerlere kolay ulaşılacak mesafede...”

The hotel wasn’t exactly in the historic center, but that’s not a problem for me because I don’t like tourist crowds. Walking to the Old Town takes only 15 minutes. The hotel is away from crowds yet within a few steps of the crowd whenever you want to reach it, which I liked. The staff were amazing… I can’t complain about cleanliness either. Everything was in its place. Most importantly, the hotel is very safe, especially for solo travelers. In general there were plenty of adequate and filling options. Still, looking at everything, it feels like the breakfast could have been richer. However, I don’t think someone heading to the city would worry too much about breakfast. At least for me, I evaluated the existing options and was very satisfied.
