“Great quiet place close the the waterfall”

The spot is perfect—just a 5‑minute drive into town and a walk to La Fortuna waterfall. The cabin felt cozy and silent amid the forest, and the staff were warm and helpful. The host knew the area well and arranged local tours for us.

I really liked the place: it's super quiet, with a gorgeous green view. We were right in nature, exactly as I imagined. I highly recommend it; it was a great experience with my family.

“If you want to be in the nature and disconnect from work go there otherwise go to crowds hotels”

The owner’s attention to detail is impressive! The surrounding greenery and singing birds are amazing, and the walking path with bridges made me grin 😊. The tiny pool is adorable! Maikel, the young guy, was fantastic and assisted us with everything, while Jason at the tour desk was super cool 😎. The waterfall entrance is right there, and having horses available is a nice touch. If the internet drops, just tell them and they’ll fix it. It’s close to Springs and activities, but you’ll need a car. I’ve traveled a lot and the Costa Rican folks are awesome—they go above and beyond, not for tips but because they genuinely care and live simply. I wish everyone could be like them! The only downside: breakfast could use a sweet option, like marmalade, cereals, or pancakes.

“Staff Michael and Chef Benedict really accommodating and nice”

Breakfast was solid—Chef Benedict nailed it, and Michael was great. My room was spotless, and I even spotted monkeys, sloths, and birds around the cabin.

“Hope you like bugs”

The breakfast was delicious, but the room was crawling with bugs, so we left after one night. We asked for a partial refund, but they said it was beyond their control and we had to go to the hotel. We tried, but they kept repeating the same excuse—no luck.
