The layout of the hotel was solid, with a pleasant garden surrounding a large swimming pool, and the buffet breakfast offered a good mix of Indonesian and Western dishes. However, the ducted air conditioning in my room was far too cold to sit comfortably, and the room controller had no effect.

The food here is outstanding; we’ve come back just for the meals, and I find the variety and taste consistently excellent, plus the staff are very helpful. The only downside is that I prefer a larger TV, which is not available.

Our request for connected rooms was met, and the rooms themselves were comfortable; the food was great and varied. The only issue was a slight annoyance in the shower room where the tap switch didn’t work properly.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, which was a plus. On the downside, the location was pretty far from the city center, which made getting around a bit tricky.
