The massage chairs in the reading area were a highlight, as was the public bath and the welcome drink. The room size is fairly large compared to other places in Japan. The only downside is that it's right next to a noisy intersection.

The breakfast was excellent, the location is great with the Kujo Station right outside the door, and the hotel is definitely worth the price. Everything was really good, though softer pillows would have been a nice addition.

The rooms are large, the breakfast is excellent, and it’s a 10‑minute walk from Kyoto station.

It was a nice touch that you received a free drink every evening. The staff were friendly, but after a three‑week vacation in Japan, they were the least friendly.
