The staff were very friendly, but my room had no window and was suffocating, with a window that looked onto the hallway; the worst part was the constant noise from the bar below that kept going until closing, making it hard to rest.

The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was tiny and the shower water was cold; I couldn’t sleep, which was exactly what I needed, because a party in a nearby square during a sports competition made the room fail acoustic isolation standards—85 dB until 6 am (legal limit 30 dB, Real Decreto 1367/2007, 19 October), a disappointing experience.
