The air conditioner was a real lifesaver in the scorching heat, making the stay far more comfortable and letting me unwind even though the weather outside was brutal.

The family was friendly, the location great, the AC good, and the laundry service was reasonably priced – overall excellent value.

The lady and her daughter are genuinely warm, and the beach is very close. At first we tried to overlook the fact that the room and bathroom were dirty and in poor condition – we almost didn’t notice because the lady was so sweet. Later that evening, when we returned to the accommodation, we were attacked by six dogs. I don’t normally mind dogs, but six snarling, barking dogs approaching me made me feel awful. When we called for help, we were told to just walk past them, that they wouldn’t bite. One tried to bite me. After another call and a few minutes of discussion, the man finally offered to meet us halfway at ten meters. Knowing the dogs, it wasn’t a problem then. At night in the bathroom we encountered several cockroaches and decided to cancel the next night – that was easy to do. This was the most expensive and simultaneously the worst stay on our trip. We can’t recommend it.
