We arrived in Da Nang early in the morning and only caught a night bus to Hanoi in the evening. We needed a shower before the trip and a quick rest, and this hotel was right next to the bus office. The receptionist was very friendly, and the room was far from the terrible description—no cockroaches ran around. For 60 zł it was an ideal deal.

Our first room was infested with bugs in the bed and had burn holes in the bedding; the headboard was filthy. They moved us to another room, which was only slightly better: the headboard stayed dirty and the sheets were stained. On checkout day they made a fuss over the bike we rented from them and were rude overall—definitely not a pleasant experience.

I was disappointed by the state of the room: the bedding and towels were soiled, the shower was broken, and overall the place looked extremely dirty and run down. Even though the price was cheap, I felt it wasn’t cheap enough for the level of upkeep. I was told I’d been reprimanded for not informing the staff of my arrival time, which I missed because I was traveling all day and didn’t see their message. I got there at 20:00, thinking that would be acceptable for check‑in, yet they cancelled my reservation. The main problem was the lack of cleanliness and maintenance, so I’m sharing this to warn other guests so they aren’t disappointed.
