The spot is close to Umhlanga, the beach, and main roads, which I liked. I’ve stayed here twice; the rooms are fine, but the towels were frayed and the place felt a bit tired.

“Beautiful venue but the service could be way better.”

The room I booked and the setting are gorgeous, and the tiny furnishings show real care that made me feel transported; the fridge in the room is huge, which I appreciated. I couldn’t have breakfast in the room because I arrived late and wanted to work while eating to prep for a meeting the next day. I also had to wait about 20 minutes with the driver after my very late flight because no one was ready to receive me and the phone number I called was out of service, so I felt stranded. When someone finally took me, he was grumpy—especially since I’d just landed at 22:50 pm—so I was exhausted, and the hotel claims to cater to business travelers, but that didn’t feel true. The book in the room didn’t list the WIFI password, so I couldn’t work properly until the next morning.

“Location & amenities exceeded all expectation. Would not hesitate this facility to others”

The breakfast selection was excellent, with hot dishes and fruit juices; the service was outstanding, and I can’t find words that go beyond “excellent.” No negatives to report.

The staff were very loving, the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was extremely fine. The location was also perfect. Nothing to complain about.
