The place sits right in the heart of Ubud, within walking distance of everything, and the owner personally looks after guests. The rooms offer views of trees and the swimming pool, though the sliding door is two separate pieces and the rooms lack windows, only curtains for privacy. No cattle were in the rooms, but when I asked for that detail the staff thanked me for the information.

The place was peaceful and quiet, the staff were helpful, and the location was great. The room was simply but tastefully decorated, and the balcony overlooking the pool and trees made for a very relaxing stay. The bathroom could be cleaner and needs an upgrade, breakfast could be improved, and the flask didn’t look very clean.
