“Highly recommended”
Every morning, the breakfast buffet was lovely, and the other restaurants on site served great food, especially the poolside one. The bar opened at 5 pm and stayed open late, with TVs for football. The As Casatas pool was quiet and peaceful, feeling like a private villa pool with no more than 10 people at a time, even though there were about 100 loungers for everyone. It was directly connected to the Hilton, giving access to five different pools overall. Waiters walked around to take orders, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming every day. Pinhal golf course was right out the main entrance, and Millennium, the old course, and Laguna were a 5‑minute drive to the entrances (you could even see the back of the course from the road outside!). The location was fantastic: a 25‑minute walk to the front or a 5‑minute taxi ride that never cost more than €5 to the marina. The rooms were spacious, with a comfortable bed, plenty of space, and a generous balcony. All kitchen facilities were great. I highly recommend this hotel! The only areas for improvement were in the rooms: the ironing board cover was ripped, a few tiles were missing in the shower, the sofas weren’t very clean and the furniture was mismatched. The shower pressure was weak, only warm or boiling hot, and the oven lacked baking trays. The washing machine had no dryer rack, and a notice warned that you couldn’t hang clothes outside.
