I never managed to check in because the hotel had no vacancies and we were told to cancel the booking due to overbooking. The hotel sits extremely high up on the mountain—this should be clearly mentioned in the description.

The owners are super friendly and will help you with anything you ask about, whether it’s locations, transport, or the best photo spots. I highly recommend visiting them and renting a room if you want to feel true Georgian family hospitality. Everything was amazing.

The building looks normal from the outside and is normally furnished inside, located in nature and not far from the sea. The bathroom was very inconvenient: the water didn’t flow well, it dripped and ran out the door, and nobody seemed to fix it even after we mentioned it. The room was messy, with hair on the furniture and the floor, and the window frame was broken and dirty. The floor wasn’t clean. The fan didn’t work, so we asked and it was turned on. Breakfast was very small; on the first day we only had a sandwich, tomato, and cheese because we arrived at 10 pm and we were told there was no food, and the children started making eggs. The next day we didn’t get any hair in the breakfast. I don’t think we paid enough for the lack of basic cleanliness. For the price you should at least have normal service.

The only thing that worked was the air‑conditioner, but everything else left a lot to be desired: the towels smelled, the hair in the shower was obvious, the room wasn’t clean and the breakfast was skimpy. The mattress was warped from dampness, the linen didn’t feel fresh and the whole room reeked of moisture. They first quoted a higher booking amount than what I actually paid, the TV never turned on, and the hotel isn’t on the beachfront – you have to walk over a kilometre to reach the water. There’s just one shop nearby and no cafés or restaurants in the vicinity, the map point was wrong, the view was of a construction site, and even a spider web hung from the ceiling.
