I arrived after check‑in time and Rossana was very nice and waited for us, but I understood why, because the house where the rooms are located is also where her parents live. We liked the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom, which was on the hallway, but it was only ours. I didn’t like that we were staying in a house with Rossana’s parents, something I didn’t know from the booking, and in the morning they had work and the doors were very loud and their voices could be heard because it’s an old house and people didn’t speak quietly like when you have guests in your own house who have paid and you don’t want to disturb them. Breakfast is at a bar next door and although I knew that Italians had something sweet and coffee, no one told us that it was a limited budget of 4 euros per person (!!!). When we asked at the bar what we could take, the lady there didn’t speak English but said we could take anything. We each had a coffee, a croissant, a panini, and a salad for everyone, and at the end the lady came with a phone with an English translation to tell me we had a limited budget of 4 euros and that we had to pay an extra 20 euros for what we took. I felt cheated because we asked at first what we could take, but we paid without asking how much each item cost, and the next day only my husband went and paid a little extra for 3 sandwiches! Parking is on the street in front of the house and it is free, but if you come in the evening you have to look for a spot because it’s all full there. So the accommodation felt quite expensive for what it offered, and it would have been fair to know all these things from the start, as it was written that the bathroom is not in the room but on the hallway and I knew from the booking!
