The spot in Meiningen is super central, everything feels brand‑new and modern, and the room is bright; the only gripe is the weak bedside lamps that don’t work well as reading lights.

A quiet, centrally located pension housed in a historic building with just two comfortable, modern rooms—highly recommended! The attached restaurant of the same name offers a wide range of Thuringian specialties.

The location is excellent and the dinner was delicious; the only issue was that it was a bit tricky to drop off luggage if you arrive at a time other than the scheduled one.
