The rooms are pretty, but the pools are large and not suitable for small children because they are too deep for them.

The food service is very good and the rooms are nice, but the Cartagena area has some deteriorated parts of the hotel that make it far from a five‑star experience.

Everything was clean, but a wedding made the pool feel like a crowded party of about 60 people with only two staff members who were rude. The beach area was shut off because of the wedding, and the social zone with music was also closed that night. In the lobby, as the wedding started, all the guests were there, so that space was unusable for the whole afternoon.

The staff were attentive, the food was delicious with a wide variety, and the facilities were in good condition, though one of the rooms we were given was under maintenance; after speaking with the staff, we were moved to a different room.
