The property is quite small. There isn’t enough space for luggage; it feels too tight.

We were able to check in early. There was no staff at the front desk; you take the key with the personal code sent to your locker and can enter on your own, which was convenient and nice. The sink in the bathroom constantly had water pooling; when I cleared the drain it was full of hair and hadn’t been cleaned—quite disgusting.

The bed was amazing; I slept soundly and felt refreshed. Thank you very much. The room was a bit cramped, which bothered me a little, but given the price it was acceptable. Thank you for the cheap and clean room.

The location was okay.

I breezed through the self‑check‑in, no front desk staff to greet me, so I followed the instructions in the email. The room was huge for the price, with a full closet and a separate toilet and shower—something you rarely see in Tokyo at that rate. It’s a 11‑minute walk to Tambaguchi Station and just two stops from Kyoto Station, making it easy to hop on a bus straight to Kiyomizu‑dera. If you’re looking for Muslim‑friendly dining, there’s only one Indian‑Muslim spot, Raj Tanbaguchi, five minutes away, but convenience stores are everywhere. The bathroom left a bit to be desired; the sink was clogged with hair, and there was no iron—adding an ironing area would be a smart move since they already have laundry facilities.
