Getting there was fairly easy once you figured out how, but I had to argue with the front‑desk staff who insisted I only had one room with two beds, while I actually booked two rooms with two beds each. My bill wasn’t itemized; I couldn’t find any email that listed both rooms or a breakdown of what I was paying for each. One invoice listed only one room for two nights, another showed just the total. I want to know exactly what I’m paying for, down to fees and taxes. I was also surprised to find a $25 deposit fee at check‑in; the sign suggested it was only for cash‑paying rooms, which was frustrating. $375 is a lot for my family, so extra charges feel significant. They knew we were a group of six but didn’t provide a single joined room, so half of us were in one hallway and the other half in another. The smoking rooms were on one side of the hallway and the non‑smoking rooms directly across, so the smoke lingered—my daughter has asthma, so this was a problem. The shower and sink didn’t drain properly; after brushing teeth, the water stayed on the faucet and in the sink, and the shower left a lot of grime on the walls and in the water, making rinsing difficult. After a day on the river, the key cards wouldn’t let us into the door; we had to get them reprogrammed. A few hours later, after grabbing food, the cards failed again, so we had to go back to the main desk.
