The location is brilliant—just a 7 to 8 minute walk from the medieval city. Anthony, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and fresh every day. The honesty bar was a welcome touch and very reasonably priced. Plus, being able to sit around the pool and on the communal balcony with a glass of wine was a nice bonus. The only downside was that the pool was cold.

Anthony welcomed us very well, was very available and smiling. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was varied (sweet/salty) and plentiful. The only small issue was a bit of dust on the baseboards, light fixtures, and some wall décor—nothing that bothered the stay, just a small point that could be improved.

Anthony’s warm welcome, the pool after the drive, and the visit to Carcassonne in the heat were great. The proximity to the site, the varied breakfast included in the price, the cold lavender tea by the pool, all were a lovely discovery. Nothing negative.
