“Tolles kleines, inhabergeführtes Hotel mitten in Berlin”

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Because we had a cleaning issue on our first night, we received an upgrade this time and everything was perfect. Parking in the courtyard is great, and the setting in Berlin is quite quiet. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast is tasty, and we really appreciate the personal, cozy vibe. The value for money is excellent.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. A bus stop for downtown trips is right nearby, and the location on a quiet side street is very peaceful.

“Excellent central location, but uncomfortable sleeping conditions, outdated facilities, and almost nonexistent reception”

The only thing worth mentioning was the central location. The property feels more like an apartment block than a hotel. Reception hours are very short, and no staff are on duty at night. The hotel still uses old-fashioned keys, and unlocking the door takes effort. If you lose a key or can’t open the door at night, there’s no one to help, which is very inconvenient. The worst part was the bed, especially the pillow, which was as hard as a stone. I barely slept and woke up with neck pain. There was no reception staff to report the issue or get a replacement pillow. If you want a proper hotel with comfy beds, reliable reception, modern electronic key access, and help when needed, you should look elsewhere. The central location alone can’t make up for these problems.
