“Volveria otra vez”
The staff were incredibly attentive and the location was spot‑on, though the stairs are a bit of a challenge for older guests like me.

Nestled in Tangier’s historic Kasbah, Dar Sultan occupies a 300‑year‑old Moroccan‑style house just steps from the beach. Each uniquely decorated room features vibrant fabrics, global artefacts, private bathrooms, and opens onto a terrace or interior courtyard. Guests enjoy daily Moroccan‑pancake breakfast on the terrace, optional dinner menus, free wired internet, and on‑site parking.

The spot is great and the breakfasts hit the mark, but the rooms feel cramped, there’s no real outdoor space to unwind, and the staff’s English was limited—my fault for not speaking French, but worth noting. It felt overpriced and I won’t return after our four‑night stay.

The décor was beautiful and spot‑on, and the location unbeatable; we loved it, and every staff member was very attentive.

Everything was perfect—the room, the location, the staff, the décor, the breakfasts, and even the dinner we had the night before leaving. A fantastic address I recommend to everyone!

The house’s location in the Kabah is fantastic. The Riad feels like a dream—very atmospheric. Breakfast is excellent, served on a beautiful terrace. We especially appreciate the staff’s friendliness. We had no reason to complain.
